Will Leather Goods sought out a group of student-athletes within the Oregon Accelerator program to serve as brand partners, promoting their products through authentic, story-driven content that resonates with target audiences.

THE CHALLENGE


Our pitch to Will Leather Goods centered on empowering student-athletes to share stories that highlight their personalities and passions beyond their sport. Another boring product promotion won’t catch the eyes of WLG’s audience, but hearing authentic stories of the student-athletes at their alma mater might do the trick. By selecting products that align with their personal style and that they felt comfortable using, the athletes could create authentic, relatable content that reinforces both their individuality and the brand’s identity.

THE INSIGHT


We worked with the selected student-athletes to choose products that fit their style and made them feel comfortable. This approach produced relatable content that highlighted their individuality and emphasized the importance of confidence both on and off the field, while reinforcing WLG’s products and craftsmanship. * I graduated mid-campaign and left the project after the initial creative shoot.
